Introduction ~Hiten Mitsurugiryuu~

Hiten Mitsurugiryuu , or Heavenly Sword Flow in English, was an ancient art of sword fighting technique dating back to ancient Japan. Most of the moves used in this ken-ryuu (sword technique) very fast & are one-battle-many, i.e the user can single-handedly handle large groups of enemies.
Because of its deadly & nature, a Dragon was used symbolically in its description & name of the moves.
Basically, all the moves can be classified into 4 groups, each group has its own attacking style & name.

1. Ran-geki-jutsu, or Multi-hit techniques ~ the attacking styles under this classification all strike the opponent with lightning quick cuts/slashes, leaving the opponent no time to react/parry.
   All the skills in this classification resembles that of an enraged dragon, striking randomly at the intruder, guarding its nest.
   
2. Totsu-shin-jutsu, or One Strike techniques ~ all the attack styles under this classification are directly opposite of those under the Ran-geki-jutsu. The stlyes here concentrate on unleashing only one blow, but powerful enough to knock out or kill the enemy.
   All the skills in this classification resembles that of an attacking dragon, charging straight towards the enemy.
   
3. Bathou-jutsu, or Sword Drawing techniques ~ this is the fundamental technique in most fighting techniques.
   
4. Ouji, or Succession techniques ~ the skills here are those finally passed down. They are the real damage-doers, but, in order for them to be passed down successfully, the master & pupil must duel it out. A winner-takes-all duel, should either of them lose, well....they lose their lives.
